Project Assistant I

The job duties for this position will vary from project to project. Duties may include (but are not limited to):

  • Prepare and clean up work sites
  • Maintain tools and equipment
  • Assist in construction or demolishing of buildings
  • Cleaning household contents
  • Load and unload structure materials and move materials in work areas
  • Remove debris and trash at construction sites
  • Manage shift equipment and materials
  • Commercial and residential building maintenance
  • Assist in other specialized trades
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager


A qualified candidate should be able to do the following:

  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Lift up to 40 lbs
  • Have hand-eye coordination and balance
  • Be able to move from a kneeling to standing position
  • Follow step by step instructions with attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate and work as part of a team

Project Assistant I Pay Grade: $9 - $12 per hour (based on experience)

    • Work directly with General Manager to oversee work sites
    • Maintain professional relationships with clients/ partners
    • Train and coordinate staff
